Pawnotes is a mobile app that lets you track your pets' weight. This policy explains what data we collect, why, where it is stored and how you can control it.

Pawnotes can be used in two modes:

We do not collect:
All data is hosted on Supabase, in a data center located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).
No data is transferred outside the EU for storage purposes.
Push notifications transit through:
These services only receive the textual content of the notification (title + body) and an anonymous device token. They receive neither your email nor the content of your database.
We do not sell your data.
We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers or analytics platforms.

When you invite another person to join your household, all data in that household (animals, photos, weighings, notes) becomes visible and editable by that member. Once added, a member can be removed at any time by the household owner, but the data they added stays in the household.

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. Upon account deletion:
No long-term commercial backups are kept. Technical backups (Supabase backups) may retain data for a maximum of 30 days before rotation.
Pawnotes is not intended for people under 13 years old. If you are a parent or guardian and notice that a minor has created an account, contact us for immediate deletion.
Any material change will be notified inside the app. The date of last update is shown at the top of this page.
